Additionally, your website’s privacy policy needs to be updated to include a blanket SMS exception/disclaimer. It should explicitly assure customers that their phone numbers and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. This assurance must be clearly and conspicuously displayed. It’s highly recommended to have this disclaimer at the top of the page to be visible to your customers.
